NeoGames’ BtoBet signs sportsbook deal with Alberta Gaming, Liquor & Cannabis

Online lottery and iGaming solutions provider NeoGames’ subsidiary BtoBet, a sports betting provider, has partnered on a long-term basis with Alberta Gaming, Liquor & Cannabis (AGLC and PlayAlberta.ca), the only website that offers online gambling legally in the Canadian province of Alberta.

The partnership comes after AGLC and NeoPollard Interactive previously worked together to create and manage the gaming platform for PlayAlberta.

By delivering its fully managed sportsbook system and helping PlayAlberta's online sportsbook expand and develop, BtoBet will now support PlayAlberta's players with online sports betting entertainment.

In Q3 2023, PlayAlberta intends to finish converting its online sportsbook to BtoBet's sportsbook software.

NeoGames recently published its Q2 2023 report, revealing a $7.8m financial loss for the quarter.

The company also reported net sales of $48m, more than doubling the $21m it brought in Q2 2022.

NeoGames had gross revenue of $57m when the revenue data were broken down, but it still suffered an operations loss of $9.1m, a decrease from the operations loss of $14.5m in Q2 2022.NeoGames' overall revenue for H1 2023 was $97.4m, which was three times more than its revenue for H2 2022 of $34.3m.
